PuentePuente

Puente´s work is centered in creating abilities within the families so a kit to make masks by hand was designed to teach family members to make their own. The kit contains fabric, needles, thread, elastic bands and a page with instructions.

The campaign was a success; 25,000 masks were distributed in the communities of Santa María Cahabón, San José Poaquil and Santa Apolonia.

The families learned how to make a mask and some of them started a small business. They appreciated the help and liked the fresh fabric and mostly that the masks are reusable
